English/Writing (Kilgore) - We will discuss and draft a 4-5 sentence paragraph personal narrative about something we did this summer, on Monday. Peer review in class Tuesday. Final copy of this paragraph will be due Friday.
Art - (Smith) - Using blending techniques that we covered last week to create optical illusions.
Math (Kilgore) -Finishing multiplication and beginning division.

Reading (Kilgore) - 1st Reading Reflection letter will be due Tuesday. We will be in class discussion common phrases and saying and discuss figurative and literal meanings.
Social Studies (Kilgore) - We are doing KWL sheets together in class, a tentative due date may be Friday this week or Monday next week.
Religion (Nittler) - Continue with Chapter 2 on the Sacraments. Be able to list the seven Sacraments and spell them correctly. Study at home for a quiz on Thursday.

Art - (Smith) - Working on blending worksheets. Leading us into our next project this week-using blending techniques to create optical illusions.

Religion (Nittler) - The class will be finishing up Chapter 1 on Creation and working on Chapter 2 on the Sacraments. Students need to learn the seven sacraments and be able to spell them correctly. They should be studying this at home.
PE (Seidt) -Football/Fitness Unit. Students will receive a handout over football and a unit assignment on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Thursday. Assignment due Friday. The Assignment must have all 3 parts to be complete 1) All 28 flashcards with definitions. 2) Words written 5 times each 3) A sentence for every spelling word.
English/Writing (Kilgore) -We will review writing sentences. Grammar packet on Capitalization and Grammar Test over prepositions will be 9/2 (Tuesday after Labor Day).
Art - (Smith) - Introducing blending. We will be completing worksheets over blending and shading. The methods practiced will be used in students projects throughout the year.
Math (Kilgore) - We will begin adding and subtracting. We will also do our first math bellwork which will be due 8/29

Math (Kilgore) - Discipline with a Purpose - Listening, Cooperation, Communication, Initiating Solutions. Friday we will also begin Math bellwork with 25 un-interrupted minutes to work on the review assignment.
